Plum Telehealth Booking Guide
In this guide, we'll explain in detail how to :
- Book an appointment using Telehealth
- Attend a booked Telehealth appointment
- Cancel/reschedule your appointment

How to book an appointment with a doctor using Plum Telehealth:

Download the Plum mobile app. If you haven't already, you can get the iOS app here and the Android app here.

Log in with your registered mobile number/email address

Navigate to the Care section on the app (you'll find it in the bottom right corner of your screen).
- Find the specialty you want to consult with (subject to your plan), Tap on 'View all' to see the list of available specialties.
- Alternatively, you can also use the search bar on the top of your screen to find a relevant specialist.
- Select the specialty you wish to consult with, and please choose a doctor
- You can also use the filter option on the top right corner of your screen to filter a doctor by their gender or languages spoken.
- Select a convenient date and time for the appointment on the subsequent screen
- Select the person to be treated

- Please choose Language preferences, Name, DOB, Gender, Phone, City, and Reason for Consultation, and agree to the terms & conditions.
- Get your Telehealth appointment booking confirmed!
- On booking confirmation, you will be notified via WhatsApp, Email, and SMS of your appointment booking confirmation.
How do I attend my video appointment with the doctor?

You can attend the Plum Telehealth video appointment only from your Plum mobile app.

At the time of your appointment, you will receive a link to join the video Telehealth call with your doctor via push notification, WhatsApp, Email, and SMS.
- Alternatively, from the Care section of your Plum mobile app, tap on 'Your Consultation' and use the join call button to join your scheduled appointment.

You can then proceed to join the meeting or wait for your doctor in case they're yet to join.
I'm unable to make it to my scheduled appointment, how can I reschedule/cancel?
To cancel:
- Log in to your Plum mobile app
- Navigate to the Care section and then subsequently to the Your Consultations section.
- Select the appointment you wish to cancel and tap. on the Cancel button
- Select the reason for the cancellation
- On selecting the reason, your appointment will be canceled, and it'll show as 'Cancelled' under the Past Consultations section.
To reschedule:
- Log in to your Plum mobile app
- Navigate to the Care section and head to the Your Consultations section.
- Select the appointment you wish to cancel and tap on the Reschedule button
- Select the new date and time slot for your appointment and tap on Next.
- Your appointment will be rescheduled. You will receive a booking confirmation for the new appointment.
Note: If you need to re-book with a different doctor or specialty, then please cancel your existing appointment and rebook a new appointment with the new doctor/specialty you wish to consult with.
What to do in case you are unable to connect with a doctor
In case you are unable to connect with a doctor:
- Chat with our support team using the in-app chat
- Write to our support team at care@plumhq.com
How do I book a follow-up appointment with the same doctor?
- Log in to your Plum mobile app
- Navigate to the Care section on the app
- Navigate to the Your Consultations section
- Here, all your past completed/canceled appointments will be listed.
- Tap on the Book Again option
- Select the date and time
- Select the person who is to be treated, Language preferences, Name, DOB, Gender, Phone, City, Reason for Consultation.
- Agree to the terms & Conditions and tap on Book Appointment
- Get your Telehealth appointment booking confirmed!
How to download your prescription
- Log in to your Plum mobile app
- Navigate to the Care section on the app
- Navigate to the Your Consultations section
- Here, all your past completed/canceled appointments will be listed.
- Scroll through Past consultations and find the consultation whose prescription you want to download.
- Then use the 'download prescription' option
- Use the subsequent screen to pick a PDF viewer of your choice to open the prescription (depending on the apps installed on your phone, these may include Google Drive, One Drive, PDF viewer, etc.)
- You will now be able to view your prescription.
