With automated workflows, new employees can get Health IDs with Employee IDs on Day 1
We are thrilled to announce an industry-first product rollout devised to redefine insurance processes. Introducing fully automated employee orders (addition/deletion of employees) in collaboration with ICICI Lombard. This product update now lets us provide you with an end-to-end digital health insurance journey with ICICI Lombard as your insurer.

What’s new: Seamless workflows, enhanced efficiency
The new workflow marks a significant leap forward, streamlining the entire employee order process from the addition/deletion of employees and dependents to Health ID acquisition and timely communication to you, HR/admins.
New employees can now obtain Unique Health IDs in as little as 4 working hours. Picture a scenario where a new hire enters your office and is seamlessly added to the group health policy by noon, ensuring they walk out of the office with their Health IDs on their first day.
The big picture: A truly digital-first health insurance journey, end-to-end
Plum’s deep integration with ICICI Lombard allows us to give you a truly digital health insurance experience. The new upgrade (automated employee orders) is the final step in completing the digital health insurance process, from sign-up to claims.
What this means for HR or admins: Reduced effort enabled by the Plum dashboard
> Add new employee and dependent details on Plum effortlessly (aka employee orders)
> Access digital Health IDs within a few hours
No follow-ups or manual intervention is necessary henceforth in the addition of new employees to your group policy. And the automation doesn't stop with efficiency gains!
Bonus:
> Get notified of Health ID generation along with details such as your Closing CD balance, the actual premium breakup of each new employee, and employee order certificates…
…All with the experience of order summaries on your favorite food delivery apps such as Zomato or Swiggy.
Exclusions: Please bear in mind that health IDs can be issued in 4 hours ONLY if these scenarios apply, and you have:
> Sufficient CD balance
> No pending endorsements with ICICI Lombard, and
> None of these constructs: Parents-in-law, Voluntary Top-ups, Flex Benefits, or other employee opt-ins
Note: Your policy is issued post-onboarding, so the 4 hour-turnaround time applies only post-onboarding.
